לאחר שחרורו אמר ישראל פריי:
“השלטון החדש כבר כאן, הוא פשיסטי והוא רוצה אותנו חלשים ומפוחדים. אל מול שלטון פשיסטי יש רק דרך אחת להרים את הראש. אין אמצע אין בינוניות ואין ממלכתיות. רק מחנה שוויון מלא, חופש מלא עבור כל אדם בין הים לירדן ואנחנו ננצח”

Israel Frei described his arrest earlier today
: It was a decoy operation, and the police sent an undercover cop disguised as a source to arrest me. During the arrest, police officers interrogated Frei about tweets he posted that sparked controversy that led to complaints.
The reports say Israel Frei’s arrest falls under the pretext of alleged incitement to terrorism.
His lawyer, Gabi Laski
, said to Ynet that Israel Frei is a victim of political persecution by the new Israeli government and that his arrest is an act of lunacy by the Judiciary, an attempt to silence dissent.
