Silwan village
and Issawia village-
Israeli twitterer is asking-
could we be seeing
the beginning of another Intifada
An intifada
can mean many things.
We could be facing
a popular unarmed uprisng
,peaceful protests
& we could be seeing
stone throwing
& molotov cocktails
as well,
but we might
also be seeing
ofcurse
a rise in
terrorist attacks-
meaning-
civilians caught on fire.
It is too early to tell
what shape
and form the next round of
conforntation
between Israel
and the Palestinians
will take
. However,
civillians
of both sides should
be protected
from the consequnces.
There are rules
for war
and
military occupation.
Just because there is
an occupation
doesn’t
mean we
should become
desensetized
to death
and lose
our own humanity.
